Development
A spider lays up to 2,000 eggs. The spider-lings come out of the eggs using an egg tooth and they all hatch randomly. When they come out, they aren't able to produce silk. After 1 to 2 moults (Shedding of skin, hair etc.) they leave the cocoon, and come together in a silk webbing. The spider makes a cocoon that is a silken bag. The bag also has leaves woven/attached to it. Before the spider-lings disperse this is where they stay. A few months later, as soon as the spider lings can produce silk and are able to eat, they begin to leave.
